The purpose of the station is to check the presence of a phase sensor on the engine and to verify the type of component fitted. Type checking is done based on the color of the component.
The system is installed directly at the workstation at which a human operator is working, so each time a strong light source is switched on, it would be inconvenient for the operator. At the customer’s request, the system was operated without additional lighting and without the station being built in.
